LICENSECAGE POLICIES

Terms of Service

Clear terms for ordering, activating and managing software licenses through LicenseCage.

Last updated:

1. About these terms

These terms explain the conditions for using the LicenseCage website and purchasing our software licensing services. LicenseCage is the service brand referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”. “You” means the customer or the business representative placing an order.

Read the selected product listing, billing period and order details before paying. If an order detail is unclear or conflicts with information on this website, contact us before purchase. Any rights you have under mandatory consumer or other applicable law remain unaffected.

2. How our licensing service works

LicenseCage offers software activation through its own third-party, shared licensing system. An order from us is not a direct purchase from the software publisher. Do not assume that a LicenseCage service is a vendor-issued license, an authorised vendor partnership or an entitlement to support from that publisher.

Activation, renewal and license assistance are handled through LicenseCage. A server activated through this system may not appear as licensed in a publisher’s public verification tool. If your business requires direct publisher verification, vendor support or a particular contractual entitlement, confirm suitability before ordering.

Software names and logos identify the relevant products and remain the property of their respective owners. Our service does not transfer software ownership or override any applicable third-party terms. You are responsible for assessing whether the service is appropriate for your intended use.

3. Your account and server details

Provide accurate account, contact and billing information. If ordering for a business, you must have authority to act for it. Keep your account credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.

Choose the correct software, edition, server type and billing period. You must have permission to administer the server and use the IP address supplied for activation. Keep the service details current when changing servers.

4. Orders, billing periods and promotions

The website displays prices in US dollars unless another currency is expressly selected. Review the final order summary, any applicable taxes or payment charges, and the invoice before completing payment. Service activation depends on successful payment and the information required for the selected product.

Regular products may offer monthly or discounted annual billing. Annual plans are paid upfront for the full year; a displayed monthly equivalent is the annual total divided by twelve, not an instalment arrangement. Temporary promotions are listed separately on the Offers page and apply only to the stated product, server type and availability. Confirm discount application, final payment and renewal terms at checkout.

A bundle includes only the software listed for that package. Storage, server hardware, hosting capacity and third-party services are separate unless the selected order expressly includes them. A lifetime listing has its own service and update conditions; ask us to explain those conditions before purchase.

5. Installation and support

Check operating-system, panel and software compatibility before installing or replacing anything. Follow the relevant LicenseCage installation guide and activation instructions. Our product-specific activation commands install the required software if it is not already installed and then activate the license; compatibility requirements and any additional setup steps still apply. Keep recoverable backups before making server changes.

We provide assistance with the LicenseCage license and its activation. Response and resolution depend on the issue and the information available; the website does not promise a fixed resolution time. General server administration, migrations and third-party application problems may require a separate service.

Send support the service reference, software name and exact error. Use an authenticated ticket for sensitive service information. Do not send payment-card details, passwords or private keys through ordinary contact messages.

6. Renewals and cancellation

Recurring services continue to generate renewal billing until cancelled. The amount and billing period for a renewal are shown in the service record or invoice. Any automatic payment also depends on the payment agreement you set up with the selected provider.

Request cancellation through your client account or contact support for help before the next renewal is due. Cancelling future service does not, by itself, create an entitlement to a refund for a period already purchased. Cancel any separate payment-provider subscription where needed to stop its recurring instructions.

Unpaid or expired services may be suspended or deactivated. Do not rely on a grace period unless we have confirmed one for your service. A deactivated license may affect the software running on your server.

7. Problems and refund requests

If a purchased license does not work correctly, contact support so we can investigate. Provide the service details and allow us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the licensing problem. If we cannot make the purchased licensing service work, you may request a refund.

A change of mind or a customer-requested cancellation does not normally qualify for a refund under our licensing refund policy. This does not limit any refund or cancellation right required by applicable law.

Before processing an eligible refund, we will explain the available method. A return to the original payment source may involve a payment-gateway fee where lawfully permitted; account credit may be available instead. We will confirm the amount and method with you rather than assume that you accept credit.

8. Responsible use and suspension

Use the account and licensing service lawfully. Do not use stolen payment details, submit false order information, abuse promotions, access another customer’s account or interfere with the licensing infrastructure.

We may restrict a service where payment is overdue, fraud or unauthorised access is suspected, or use creates a security risk or breaches these terms. Contact support to resolve a restriction. Suspension does not remove any payment obligation already incurred or any statutory right you hold.

9. Reseller accounts

Resellers set their own customer prices and manage their customer relationships. The reseller catalogue and buying rates are separate from retail monthly plans, annual plans and temporary promotions. Only products listed as available for reselling should be offered through that programme; SYSCare is excluded.

The listed initial reseller payment is $55: a $5 setup fee and $50 license-purchasing balance. The panel has no recurring renewal fee, while software licenses have their own charges and renewal periods. An account balance is for purchases; it is not a promise of sales revenue or profit.

Use white-label commands, modules and API access in line with the installation and integration guidance. Protect API credentials and give customers an accurate description of the licensing service.

10. Service changes and responsibility

Software compatibility and availability can change when publishers, operating systems or upstream services change. We cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every future software release will work with this licensing system. Contact us if a change affects an active service so we can review the available options.

You remain responsible for server administration, customer data, backups and the consequences of changes you make to your environment. Nothing here excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. We do not offer a blanket guarantee of security, performance, search rankings or business results.

11. Privacy and changes to these terms

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is used in connection with the website and licensing services. Read it alongside these terms.

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The date at the top identifies the current website version. Material changes affecting an existing service will be communicated through the account or the contact details held for it, with any notice required by applicable law.
